My central goal in using DeviantArt is education. I browse through others' works to pick up what I can about inspiration, technique, and artistic goals.

In terms of my own art, I am first and foremost a philosopher. I consider my philosophical writings, interpretations and my views on aesthetics works of art (Nietzsche as inspiration). These are in development, some are accessible on my website (notebook.dwrz.net) others will be but not anytime in the near future (doctrine.dwrz.net).

In terms of graphic art I am decent at drawing, most of my work is in charcoal and usually rather large in scale. I have recently also started photography. I enjoy it a good deal though I don't consider myself as having much natural ability with it. I am mostly self-educated, either through experience or from some good tutorials and articles on the web. Most of my photography is available on my website (dwrz.net/Gallery).

I don't expect much out of the works I put on DeviantArt, but I welcome any criticism and advice I can get-- I need a lot of it.

I have placed a shot autobiography in the journal as background/my biases+influences.
